About Us

Ness Haller

Owner and Dance Teacher

A resident of Drakes Broughton, Ness is a recently retired police officer with a passion for dance.

As an alumna of Swindon School of Dance, Ness studied ballet, jazz, contemporary modern and tap, before being accepted into the London Contemporary Dance School where she trained with Ballet Rambert.

Prior to joining the police force, Ness founded and taught community dance classes at the Lyppard Grange Community Centre teaching children and adult’s ballet, tap and jazz.

She currently choreographs for the Pershore Operatic and Dramatic Society (PODS) and Pershore Operatic Dramatic Youth Society (PODYS) and is a relief teacher at a Worcester Ballet School.

Vicky Shone

Dance Teacher
Vicky is a University of Falmouth student studying Choreography. She has a diploma in Dance Instruction from the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dancing, which included modern theatre, tap dance and dance education. Prior to that Vicky studiedballet, modern and tap at Symphony Dance School, along with contemporary dance at Wire Youth Dance Company.

Vicky is currently working with the dance examination board UTD (United Teachers of Dance) on creating their Contemporary Dance Syllabus as well as delivering courses.

Kiaragh Brown

Dance Teacher

Kiariagh is a local theatre actress and singer, currently working towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award with Drakes Broughton Dance Club; to improve her teaching and technical skills in dance. Kiaragh supports Ness in the children’s ballet class.

Mia Brotherton

Dance Teacher

Mia has been studying Musical Theatre at ‘The Birmingham Ormiston Academy’ and is in her first year of her A levels . Mia also attends the’ School of Theatre Excellence’ studying Singing, Acting and Dancing.

She has played many lead roles for PODY’s including Mortitia in the Addams Family, Sandy in Greece and for PODS, Alice, in Alice in Wonderland & through the looking glass. Mia sings and acts for the Fladbury players and choreographed Dick Whittington.

Mia will be teaching our Street Jazz classes for 7 -11& 12 15 year olds.

Auriol Burgess

Volunteer

Auroi is an actress and drama teacher; she assists in a variety of ways within the club

Volunteer

Dawn is a resident in the village, who helps with the admin at the children’s classes.

Jackie is the club seamstress, who makes the bespoke club merchandise.
